An overview of what to expect when working together
MoonPhase is menopause-informed psychiatric care for women who want thoughtful, integrative care—attuned to hormonal transitions, emotional depth, and long-term wellbeing.
Midlife care often requires a different clinical lens—one that integrates mood, sleep, stress physiology, and hormone awareness into a whole-person plan.
What Women Often Say
I want to understand what’s driving this, not just manage symptoms.
I’m tired of being handed a checklist that doesn’t explain anything.
MoonPhase begins with pattern-mapping and clinical formulation—so your plan reflects what’s actually driving the shift, aligned with your goals and medical profile.
Intake Questionnaires, Policies and Consent Documents are reviewed and signed prior to the initial visit; key points are confirmed at the start of our first session.
Step 1
The first meeting creates space for introduction and mutual discernment—clarifying scope, fit, and whether MoonPhase is the right setting for your needs. When appropriate, an initial consultation may occur during this visit or be scheduled as the next step.
Step 2
The initial consultation is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, typically lasting 60-90 minutes. We focus on your medical and psychiatric history, current concerns, and goals for care—with attention to mood, sleep, stress physiology, and hormone awareness and metabolic context.

Step 3
Ongoing care is where the plan becomes real. Follow-ups support steady progress over time and may include medication strategy when appropriate, supportive and/or CBT-informed therapy, and integrative psychiatric recommendations—including supplement review—when clinically indicated.
When appropriate, care may also include targeted lab review, nutritional psychiatry strategies, and mind-body supports.
As care deepens, integrative approaches may be introduced to support stability and insight. These may include laboratory & genome testing, nutritional psychiatry, lifestyle and mind–body strategies, and education around hormonal and neurobiological change
Financial Model
MoonPhase Integrative Psychiatry & Wellness operates as a self-pay practice. This model allows for longer visits, thoughtful pacing and clinical flexibility.
Payment is due at the time of service. Upon request, a superbill may be provided for clients who wish to seek out-of-network reimbursement independently, depending on their insurance plan.
If this approach feels aligned, the next step is to request a consultation.
All prospective patients begin by submitting the Consultation Request form
before scheduling and initial appointment.
Submission does not establish a provider–patient relationship.
